Ch-ch-ch-ch-changes

It stretched my knowledge of HTML and really tested my patience but I made a few changes to my blog, new template, color scheme, and some links on the right-hand side. Did you notice? What do you think?

In case you need a visual, here's the old version...

I love new 'dos. I think this might inspire me to get a new haircut...

How do you do it? I have no idea and frankly I have tried to figure out how to do links, etc and fail miserably.

Lest you be too amazed with my skilz, first I blingo'd (the new google, look it up, or don't, they give away prizes and the fewer people using it, the better my chances) to find a free template. Then guessed at a lot of stuff, and used the preview button extensively to see it I got it right or totally screwed it up (which I had several times) before saving. It also involved copying lots of the previous code and figuring out which parts did which things, but Voila!, I like it!

And links are easy, if you just go into the template part of your blog and see how they did the one for Google Search, then copy that same format for any links you want. If that's not clear, call me and I ccan help, or we could have a "brief blog link lesson" before the next book club.

Okay, I just tried this for the first time. I'm curious what skill level the rest of you are at, easy, medium, hard, or evil?

Dearest daughter,

You got the fever from me. I do one every day. Good for the brain as one grows older. Ha Ha.

On websudoku I usually do the easy level and try to do it as fast as possible. Mostly because I do it at work during breaks and so am after doing it fast. I try to do 3 consecutive puzzles in less than 3 minutes each. My fastest time since they started keeping track for me, is 1 minute 45 seconds.

Cool, Mcollie. Is that without asking how you're doing as well?

I don't yet have to do them online because I was given a book of 201 puzzles for Christmas. Also, they are less creatively divided into levels 1-5, I have done some in each. Soon I wil have to go online to get puzzles, I only have about 50 left in the book.

Now I'm hooked as well. I'm playing the online version. It's always fun to have a new challenge. Thanks

Mcollie it's my first day and I can only get as low as 3:24 on the easy level. 1:45 seems impossible.
