Since I'm trying to avoid sharing actual mp3 files right now, I thought I could share a great performance. Last week, David Letterman had Jenny Lewis on as the musical guest, and she had a guest too, Elvis Costello! So good!
And, just when I was thinking I might not really need cable, the short interview with Elvis Costello made me want to upgrade and get the Sundance channel. Maybe what I don't really need is a savings account...

I love him too. I have my boss in college to thank for that. He once said that if he could only take one CD to a desert island, it would be Elvis Costello and I had no idea who he was but thought that if he was good enough to be the only CD someone had forever, I should find out who he was.
I feel in love with Elvis a bit late in the game. It all happened while watching Gilmore Girls. That episode when Jess comes to Star's Hallow and he walks out of Luke's to see shiny, happy people everywhere and that song "This is hell, this is hell, I am sorry to tell...it never gets better or worse" and I fell in love with that song and that song led me to Elvis. And now, no matter what Fast and Testimony meeting I end up in, that song can't help but go through my head.
