Choosing our next president is absolutely reason enough but just in case you need another reason, here you go.
If you vote in the morning, you could swing by Krispy Kreme for a free star shaped donut with patriotic sprinkles. Run by Ben & Jerry's for an afternoon free scoop. And Starbucks will help you stay up late to find out who won with a free cup of coffee.
And I bet they will give these to anyone who voted, even if you voted for the wrong person.
Looking for more ideas of things to do tonight, after you vote of course? My roommate, Lizzy, has lots of ideas.

we didn't know this, & went to starbucks for hot chocolate & a pastry after voting. (celebrating exercising our voting privileges & enjoying a rare morning together!) they gave me my tea for free, but forrest had to pay for his hot chocolate.
and now we know about ben & jerry's! woohoo!!
Ansley! I can't believe all the fun blogs I'm finding today. I saw you linked on Kaarina's blog. I used to know you in Portland. I wish we had a Krispy Kreme, Ben & Jerry's or Starbucks but I just live in a teeny tiny town in Indiana. Actually there may be a Starbucks, I'll have to look into that. It's fun to find you today!
is hannah friedman your friend or is that just some weird advertising for another blog?
anyway. we went to krispy kreme and it was the best donut ever because they went in back and got me a fresh one, and i haven't had one in like a year, and i felt positive and hopeful about the election.
so hope works on your stomach too.
Hannah would be the latter, no idea who she is and the delete comment trash can icon seems to no longer exist. Weird thing is, I'm pretty sure that's the longest thing ever written on my blog even if you include my posts.
Glad you were all able to enjoy the election and a few treats as well. I had Ben & Jerry's. I live in the west coast, so by that time, I didn't need too much hope, it was more a sure thing.
Hannah is your new best friend...anyway, we did it! I did it without a yummy incentive and it still feels really good...xo
